Just outside, enjoy all there is to do at Shelter Cove Harbour! There are more than 30 shops and restaurants on the first level of the complex. Take a stroll along the harbour to see all the beautiful yachts and boats. The Marina features Hilton Head Island's largest deep water yacht basin. Every conceivable water sport may be enjoyed here, from deep-sea fishing, inshore fishing charters and crabbing, to sail and powerboat rentals, to sightseeing and nature excursions, to dinner cruises. Shelter Cove is the center of many of the island's evening activities. Harbourfest is held from April through August, and has exhibits, vendors, entertainment, and loads of fun for the entire family. In the summer, enjoy Shannon Tanner, an island tradition for music and storytelling. The theatre and the island's only indoor shopping mall are only steps away. And the beach? Just a mile away -- an easy walk or bike ride. Rent a bike and cruise over miles of paved bike paths, enjoy a little beach cycling along the shore, or just grab the provided chairs, towels and toys and settle in for some relaxation and family time in the sun. In the warmer months, you also have access to our complex's small, but private pool, just steps away from our door.
For convenience, there are TWO grocery stores -- Kroger and Whole Foods -- in the Shelter Cove shopping area, and another -- The Fresh Market -- is just a bike ride away.
