This delightful rural setting in Combeinteignhead provides a great base to visit the nearby popular village of Shaldon 2.4 miles with hidden Ness Cove Beach accessed via an original smugglers tunnel, a selection of shops, pubs, bakeries and even a ferry trip across to Teignmouth on the oldest passenger ferry in England. The famous English Riviera is all within easy reach, picturesque Torquay harbour is a short 6.2 mile drive. Paignton is an 8.4 mile drive with local zoo, waterpark and much more on offer for family days out.
You’re welcomed into the well-equipped galley kitchen with a handy area to kick off your shoes. To the left of the kitchen, you’re welcomed into the cosy lounge area, with a wood burner, Smart TV and sofas. Through the hallway is a small utility room with a washing machine and tumble dryer. Continuing to your right is the dining room with a Victorian fireplace feature, beamed ceilings and a separate hidden office space with its own window. Another door leads into the kitchen to complete the interlinked downstairs layout. Moving upstairs there is a handy WC as you head up the dog-leg staircase. Upstairs on your left is a twin bedroom (can be made into a king-size), and across the hall to your right is a double-size bedroom both with original fireplace features and quirky design. Directly across the hallway is the master bedroom with a super-king bed and spacious design. The family bathroom has a roll-top bath with a shower over and WC. Completing the upstairs is a quirky single bedroom with a hand-built bed to fit the concave exterior wall and charming small round window.
