Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: A very unique stay in a safari tent in the French countryside. Clean and comfortable bathroom to use and a small kitchen where breakfast was served. A selection of games were available to use - both indoor and outdoor. Lots of additional bedding available should it get cold in the tent (it didn’t). A very relaxing stay. Laure is a very welcoming and helpful host, making suggestions for dinner and routes for both bike rides and drives to see villages in the Loire region.

Negative: The tent has effectively 2 bedrooms, one with a king bed and the other with 2 single beds. The single beds were small and my son didn’t actually fit in the bed - although he is over 6’ tall. There is a cockerel nearby who crows all day and night. He doesn’t belong to Laure who can do nothing about him - she even provided us with earplugs.

Summary: A very unique stay in a safari tent in the French countryside.
