Positive: Location was amazing. Owner Linda was kind and not intrusive. Nice collection of recommendation of local restaurants and activities. Gave clear instructions for use of property. Surroundings were beautiful. Home was acceptable as far as finishing. Gaps around doors allowed mosquitoes inside. Layout which only had one bedroom within main cabin left the other two bedrooms in other unattached outbuildings. Those two bedrooms only had access to toilet facilities by crossing a grassy area and entering the bathroom through an exterior door which led directly into the bathroom. To allow guests access at night meant the door had to be left unlocked or the guests had to knock to gain access. There was no mention of this in description of the property.

Negative: The layout of bedrooms, access to bathroom facilities, poor fit of doors allowing insects. No keys/locks on property when you left during the day. The larger suite style bedroom was built into the back of an unattached garage and reeked of gasoline, varnish odor to the point that we felt sick within a few minutes. We did not enter that room after the original tour. The whole property used very strong air fresheners which was overwhelming. We unplugged them and placed in a cabinet. Without the freshener, the other outbuilding bedroom had an odor that was unpleasant—it shared a wall with an old fashioned no flush toilet that the owner stated was more of a conversation piece. The site had a flock of chickens on site which seemed charming until the rooster began crowing at 345 am and continued every 10-15 minutes thereafter.
