The main room downstairs is open-plan and combines the ultimate in olde world charm with modern living.An original exposed stone wall, deep-silled windows and an attractive fireplace are complemented by luxurious deep leather sofas, an electric stove-effect fire, solid wood floors and a superb modern kitchen with range-style cooker. Upstairs are two beautifully presented and colour-coordinated bedrooms together with a spacious bathroom with large shower and corner bath.
The garden grounds are fully enclosed (dog owners please note there are very friendly sheep in the area so dogs must be kept under control at all times). Hill Cottage is in an elevated position with stunning views across the valley or strath below. A path meanders down the gently sloping hillside to the pretty river Kanaird – a lovely place to take a picnic or just enjoy a quiet river stroll along the banks.
