Travel Purpose: business

Positive: We live and work in a large busy city, so to come to Carps Well Lodge with it's beautiful calm surroundings over looking a small lake with no neighbours was perfect break for us. The lodge was very well equipped and beautifully presented with everything a person or couple would need for a short break. The bedroom overlooks the lake, so each morning we had a cuppa in bed watching the bird and fish activity on the lake. There are 'pegs' dotted around the lake if you're into fishing. We had a few thunderstorms whilst we were there, but we sat outside under the wooden canopy attached to the lodge roof and enjoyed the beauty and ferocity of nature and kept dry in the process. When we had evening sun we sat outside with a cool drink on the swing seat overlooking the lake. If you want peace and salvation for the soul, I would highly recommend Carp Well Lodge. More importantly a big thank you to the owners Pete and Cath who could not do enough for us and our little dog. We shall return...

Negative: A small microwave would be nice, maybe that's because I'm a townie. :) Other than that nothing.

Summary: Salvation for the stressed soul.
