Welcome to our beautiful countryside property in the tranquil hamlet of Chattemoue, near to Javron-les-Chapelles. Book with us and we are certain you will enjoy your stay! We have personally thought through all of the amenities and hope to provide you with all the comforts of home and more. As well as the fun, games and activities available at the property, the surrounding area has a lot to offer and is sure to make your holiday full of happy memories.
At our tastefully decorated and furnished self-catering converted barn, you'll find everything you need for a perfect stay.
The open plan layout on the first floor offers a modern fitted kitchen which has a newly purchased large fridge and freezer, a gas cooker, electric kettle, hot drinks makers, halogen oven, electric grill/oven and a microwave, plus all crockery, cutlery, glassware, pots and pans. There is a dining table and chairs and two large sofas, coffee table, tv etc. The balcony, accessed from the lounge, provides a lovely setting for al fresco dining with views of fields and local woodland.
There is a separate laundry room on the ground floor for reasonable use by guests. Iron, ironing board etc are provided.
The property provides a perfect place to relax and offers a flat screen television, Sky box, dvd player plus a huge selection of dvds and fibre internet access. Lots of board games, jigsaws, outdoor toys and games are available.
There are also BBQ, wood fired pizza oven, fire pit and petanque court for use by guests.
A trampoline with safety net is also available. As well as courtyard seating, there is a private garden area with seating and a secure, fenced unheated swimming pool with decking, sunbeds and chairs.
This house has 4 bedrooms and can comfortably sleep 8. Three of the bedrooms are on the ground floor while the fourth is on the first floor.
In the first ground floor bedroom, you will find a double bed (with new, firm mattress), modern oak wardrobe, chest of drawers and table with bedside tables.
In the second ground floor bedroom, there are two full sized single beds, a modern wardrobe and chest of drawers plus bedside table.
The third ground floor bedroom contains a set of large, metal framed bunk beds, a pine wardrobe, chest of drawers, bookcase and trunk.
The fourth bedroom, which is situated on the first, contains a double bed (with firm mattress), modern oak wardrobe and chest of drawers.
We have a variety of items available for use by baby/infant guests:- buggy with carry cot and carry chair attachments, travel cot (with bedding), high chair, baby bath and changing mat (photo).
There are 2 bathrooms.
The first bathroom, situated on the ground floor, has a toilet and sink and a walk-in corner shower with multi head spray and seat.
The second bathroom, situated on the first floor, has a toilet and sink and a walk-in corner shower with multi head spray and seat.
Bed linen and towels are all included to make your stay more enjoyable.
The price per night quoted is for rental of the entire gite (8 persons) which breaks down into a very reasonable "per person, per night" rate.
House Rules:
- Check-in time is 4pm and check-out is 10am.
- Smoking of any description is not allowed in the property.
- Secure parking facilities within the courtyard. Additional parking space also available adjacent to the gite.
- Pets are allowed at the property subject to prior agreement.
- The pool is strictly for use by guests only.
- No "overnight guests".
- No charging/hook up of electric/hybrid vehicles.
