There is a pub within walking distance which serves delicious home cooked meals. Also nearby is Paxton House, which hosts exhibitions throughout the summer but is a lovely place to dog walk and relax all year round. Plus the tea room does excellent cakes! The seaside town of Berwick-upon-Tweed is roughly 5 miles away and has an array of shops, cafés and restaurants plus other amenities. It is also hosts a mainline station, should you fancy taking the train to the bright lights of Edinburgh or Newcastle upon Tyne.
Ashfield is located down a narrow back lane with parking outside for one car, plus space for another on the pebble drive. It’s the perfect place for daytime reading or dozing, or a little more privacy at night. Whilst the property can sleep five, occupancy is limited to four - just so that everyone feels properly comfy all of the time. With ample accommodation at home, and plenty to see and do nearby, Ashfield provides a perfect retreat - for families, friends or couples, with or without their canine friends. Beach 5 miles.
