You can also walk to a bistro in Berneray. Enjoy the scenery, the fresh air and a good night’s sleep in the pod, which has underfloor heating, a small kitchen area where you can cook the local shellfish, a shower room with toilet, double bed and also a double sofa bed.
This is the ideal place to enjoy what North Uist and the surrounding islands have to offer. Sites to visit include a medieval temple and chapel, and also the Iron Age Broch. The landscape is very rugged and you can easily see what it was like 100 years ago for farmers and their families. There is horse riding on Benbecula, which is 25 miles away.
