Unlimited central heating and a woodburning stove ensure you will always be warm, even in winter. Opposite the property the Ale Water has a beautiful walk along the riverside.
The Bothy sits between the Tweed and Teviot rivers and near the historic towns of Melrose, Selkirk and Hawick in the heart of the Scottish Borders countryside. Located just off the St Cuthberts Way it is an ideal place for walker with some of the best walking and cycling routes in the UK; for mountain bikers the world famous 7stanes centres are nearby. There is golf at New Woll next door and nearby a driving range, fishing can be found throughout, either at local fisheries or on the world reknowned rivers and if you like horses there are two local equestrian centres, one run by Ian Stark. For eating out there are two restraunts nearby and both fine dining and takeaways are within easy reach.
