Positive: The breakfast was fabulous and the staff were lovely. The room was warm and the bed was comfortable.

Negative: I'd rung to ask for food recommendations before we arrived and didn't feel as though I was a valued guest in the phone call but it is only a B&B so thought it was reasonable enough but until breakfast that feeling only intensified. There was nowhere to park when we arrived so had to pay for parking. Despite arriving at check in time there was no one to welcome us and trying to open the email and read it all in the dark and no specs was not fun! Getting out was no fun either, again, opening the email reading where the exit button was. Really not impressed. Our room was up tiny winding staircase and the door opened straight onto the stairs - which the first time we exited the room was a bit of a shock! We'd been warned but not at booking so it is a good job we are fit. The room had no wardrobe so the only place to hang stuff was on the back of the door so you had to choose - hang up your coat or your clothes. I don't think I'd want to stay more than one night because there was nowhere to put anything. Couldn't get the cold tap to work and the bathroom was so small there was nowhere to put the loo roll, you had to twist round to get it - again, good job we do yoga! Couldn't get the telly to work - only wanted it for the radio but instructions on how to get that going would have been good.
