Positive: It was exceptionally clean and the check-in process was very straightforward. The plumbing was excellent! The kids loved the reading nook! The area is very quiet, but you are only a 5 minute walk (at most) from some very nice restaurants and bars (as well as the vaporetto).

Negative: The third “bedroom” is really just a bed in an open balcony above the main living area, which means that once that person goes to bed, the rest of the household must too, unless they want to sit in the living room in silent darkness! This was fine for us, with the kids, but I don’t think would work with older kids.

Summary: A comfy, quiet, clean, and well-connected base from which to explore this amazing city.
