The Lofthouse is a former fisherman's cottage a stone’s throw from the historic harbour in the beautiful fishing village of St Monans - the hidden gem of the East Neuk of Fife. Situated between Elie and Pitenweem On the Fife coastal path, we are close to beautiful beaches and fantastic restaurants. The acclaimed East Pier Smokehouse is a minute's walk away from the house. St Andrews is a 20-minute drive.
Ideal for families and couples. Well-behaved dogs welcome.
The space
The Lofthouse is a perfect getaway close to the harbor in the beautiful village of St Monans. On the Fife coastal path, it is perfect for nature lovers and walkers. There's an abundance of birds, and seals and It's not uncommon to spot the resident pod of dolphins in the Forth. We have an equipped artist's studio in the attic with beautiful views over the harbor and beyond to the silvery Forth for artists of all ages and abilities inspired by the fantastic surroundings.
