Summary: I was quite surprised after reading some of the reviews but it served the purpose of an overnight stay. It was clean and spacious with everything you need for a few hours sleep. There was a strange smell in the room which I later attributed to stale smoke, which cannot be blamed on the hotel but rather the clientele this hotel attracts, if the reviews are correct. The area did not feel the safest, although there was nothing untoward that happened during my stay. Aside from some random person singing in an adjoining room, my misgivings were unfounded. For £53 a night it was great value for arriving at 8pm and leaving at 5.30am- would I stay again? Not sure!
