Located in the historically preserved Lincoln Terrace neighborhood just a few blocks from OU Medical Center and the Capitol. Five-minute drive to downtown OKC, Chesapeake Arena, Bricktown, Scissortail Park, Boathouse District, Midtown with easy access to OKC’s major highways. Great location, clean and crisp with a mix of modern and vintage decor – you cannot go wrong with the Scissortail.
At just over 1900 square feet, with three bedrooms – two featuring new king size 12” Zinus Memory Foam mattresses and the third with two new twin size mattresses – the Scissortail is perfect for multiple couples, families, small groups and business travelers alike.
Three full bathrooms: one attached to the Master Suite which includes a rain shower faucet and two generously sized vanities; the second bathroom has a standard size bathtub and shower with large pedestal sink; and the third bathroom is equipped with a beautiful glass walk-in shower and large pedestal sink.
Keyless entry with a personal door code for each guest makes check-in easy and convenient. High-speed wireless internet, smart TV located in the living room with built in Roku for accessing Netflix, Amazon Video, Hulu, etc.
**Calling all travelers with small children - If you are traveling with a child that still sleeps in a crib, please let me know. The home has a compact crib (slightly smaller than a full size crib) with a 3" mattress. With advance notice, I can have the crib set up and ready to go upon your arrival. The crib fits nicely in the large walk-in closet connected to the Master Suite, perfect for those little ones that like a dark room for sleep time. I also have a stroller I can leave at the house. The home is also equipped with a baby bath, plastic cups and silverware, compact highchair, and a few toddler toys to help make traveling with little ones easier!**
***If you are traveling with a pet, please read our pet policy carefully: Pets are welcome in the backyard which is enclosed with a new wooden privacy fence, however, pets are required to be kept in a kennel when inside. There is plenty of room for a kennel in the laundry room. I am happy to provide a kennel (small or large) upon request.***
Kitchen is stocked with pots, pans, baking sheets, dishes, coffee cups, silverware, glasses and a Ninja Coffee Maker (reusable filter included). Gas stove and oven. Wine fridge under kitchen island. Washer and dryer with starter kit of laundry detergent in case laundering is needed during your stay. Basement access from master closet for shelter in case any wild Oklahoma weather hits during your stay. Single line parking in driveway for two cars and parking on the street. Parking is also available behind privacy fence for compact cars only.
