The Residence Domaine du Chateau St. Georges is located in Cap d`ail in a quiet park with pool, about 2km (5 minutes by car or bus) from Monaco in a hillside location with sea views. The pool has a pool house with showers and toilets, sunbeds with cushions and a children's pool and is lit in the evening. From the complex you can see in the evening the lights of the Cote d`azur of the adjacent small towns until Nice shimmer. It is not uncommon to see beautiful fireworks in the evenings in the summer.
Cap d`ail is adjacent to Monaco and is about 20 minutes from Nice. About the Basse corniche you drive by car along the sea through the small towns to Nice or the highway (Moyenne corniche) is 10 minutes. In Cap d`ail there are downstairs on the Basse corniche (5 min walk) all shops, banks and restaurants. There are 2 supermarkets which are also open on Sundays and at the roundabout a fantastic bakery with fresh baguette, croissants, pain au chocolat and olive bread. There is also a laundry, hairdresser, post office, pharmacy, petrol station, bank, veterinary clinic, greengrocer, creperie and several restaurants. Also the bus to Nice, Monaco (5 min) u. a to the plague Marquet and Menton leaves here. However, the last bus leaves at about 19:30, on the weekend a night bus back to Cap d`ail from Monaco Place d`armes leaves every hour. Further information at www. lignesazur. com
For shopping you can also drive into a huge supermarket "Carrefour" in the castle hill to Monaco.(Basse corniche direction Monaco and then direction "Fontveille" at the roundabout right. Approximately 5 minutes by car)
Here you get everything your heart desires such as fresh fish, organic produce, meat, a huge selection of cheeses and much more). Cap d`ail has 2 beaches: The picturesque bay Mala with the beach bar with sun loungers and restaurant L`Eden (drive down to the restaurant La Pinede and then walk along the sea or if you come out of our complex left over the parking and Always walk straight down between the houses (about 20 minutes). The other beach is right on the border with Monaco "Plage Marquet". Here the beach bar and restaurant Lamparo is highly recommended. The easiest way to get there is by car and park in the large parking lot right on the beach. (5 min). Alternatively, take the bus to Monaco and get off the beach and down the stairs. You can go for romantic food in La Pikende or L'eden on Plage Mala. Both restaurants are right on the sea. Also recommended the Pinede for an aperitif on the terrace in the lounge area after a wonderful walk along the sea with great villas and beautiful sunsets.
