The Space:
Escape to this gorgeous, newly-renovated modern ranch compound on over 5 secluded acres featuring sweeping views of Joshua Tree & Yucca Valley.
The property -- dotted with dozens of beautiful Joshua Trees and an enormous Saguaro cactus -- features a 3-bedroom home, horse riding arena, a Western-style saloon facade (great for the Gram!), hot tub, outdoor shower, cowboy tubs, multiple covered outdoor seating areas, horseshoes, firepit & more.
The fully-fenced, landscaped grounds provide a safe & unforgettable desert experience for families (no more stepping on cactus thorns!); dogs & horses are also welcome!
Through the front gate, a long meandering driveway leads you to the primary residence: a 3-bedroom / 2-bathroom home featuring beautiful open floor plan, country dining table for 8 and vaulted-ceiling living room.
The home’s three-sided covered wraparound porch features various seating arrangements throughout; the perfect place to sip a morning cup of coffee and gaze out at the tranquil desert landscape. The large outdoor dining area also features a gas grill.
CRAZY HEART RANCH takes its name from the 1987 novel chronicling the story of a down-and-out country singer who finds redemption & romance through music & nature.

Paved Roads/Dirt Roads: dirt roads but capable of low riding cars.
Fenced yard: Fully fenced
Outdoor Surveillance: Camera located in front of the house. The camera in the backyard by the corn home game is pointed strictly at the propane tank across the way to make sure the deliver on time
Cell phone coverage: Yes cellphone coverage
◦ Wildlife: this is the rural desert and we share the space with the wildlife. You may encounter desert ants, mice, coyotes, or if you’re lucky a bobcat.
◦ Additionally, any unauthorized late check-out beyond the 15-minute grace period will incur a $100 fee
◦ Items left behind will incur a minimum return shipping fee of $50, depending on the shipping address
◦ Pet Fee is $100 per pet. We are unable to accommodate cats due to the owner's severe allergy. Appreciate your understanding!
◦ RULES:
Noise ordinance:
Quiet hours are 10pm-7am. No external speakers allowed. Any noise related discrepancies will result in at least a $1000 fine.
◦ SMOKING POLICY
No smoking inside the house or within 10ft. Smoke residue will result in excessive cleaning fees
◦ Restricted Areas:
Any locked closet or room is restricted. If forcibly entered you could be held liable for any unaccounted for item.
◦ Hot Tub/Pool:
** Please note: Cowboy pools are unavailable from November through March.**
Hot Tub Use: Please avoid using the hot tub immediately after it’s been serviced, as chemical levels are temporarily elevated. We have weekly pool cleanings, this day may fall on your stay and your cooperation will keep the hot tub clean and balanced at all times.
Please rinse off any oils, lotions, or substances before entering the spa, as these can affect water quality and cause discoloration.
No drinking in the hot tub, please.
Be sure to keep the cover on when not in use, especially since we're in the desert and debris can easily get into the water.
Any misuse of the hot tub may result in an additional charge for extra maintenance.
☆ Cowboy Pool Availability ☆
The cowboy tub is drained and unavailable for guest use during winter months (November - March) to prevent the filter from freezing and breaking.
Please note: Dishwasher is not operatable

No un permitted photoshoots or videoing at the home. If you would like to use our home for those purposes please send us a message. Any unauthorized filming will result in a $5000 violation and production fee.
