The Cob is our family friendly barn conversion, designed by award winning architects It sleeps 9 + cot and has a private cedar clad hot tub to enjoy.
A great venue for families and friends to enjoy a special occasion or reunion.
It has two private terraces and a large grassy garden, perfect for football, al fresco breakfasts or evening sundowners. The bi-fold doors to the eastern terrace bring the outside in, and means kids can roam freely while in safe sight of parents. Guests are invited to collect fresh eggs every morning from our friendly free range hens.
The Cob has a very large, light-filled, open-plan reception room, plus a kitchen-diner equipped with all mod cons. The roomy dining table will comfortably sit 9 and there is a large central range cooker, so cooking can be a sociable occasion.
The reception room has two large comfy sofas with an additional armchair, a flat screen TV, Bose sound system and a great log burner for cosy nights in. Along with the kitchen and reception, downstairs there is also a double bedroom with king-size bed and en-suite shower room, and a separate guest WC.
Upstairs the barn overlooks open countryside and encourages wildlife watching. Here, there is a large family bathroom with complimentary Haekels toiletries provided, plus three additional bedrooms: a double, with king-size bed, a twin/double (can be arranged as either with zip and link beds), and a fun bunk room, which also has a truckle bed, so sleeps 3 comfortably. The bunks are full size single beds but please note; the top bunk is quite high so not recommended for children under the age of 8 years.
It’s interior is clean & crisp, mixed with colourful accent walls. The barn is flooded with sunlight, however the black out blinds encourage lazy lie ins. The Cob has under-floor heating throughout.
