Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Good location for the wedding we were going to in the area. It was large in rooms size & we enjoyed our time that we spent there.

Negative: Overall, it was a good place to stay, but the experience beforehand was a bit stressful due to poor communication. Late check-out wasn’t an option, which was fine, but the process of arranging key collection caused some unnecessary stress. I had been advised to contact the owner at least 48 hours in advance to sort out the keys, which I did — but I didn’t hear back until less than 24 hours before we were due to leave for the trip. This lack of communication wasn’t ideal, especially as we were travelling from Glasgow without a driver, and it left us feeling uneasy before setting off. The stay itself was nice, but the communication could definitely have been better.
