Nestling in a quiet hamlet in the heart of Brittany, these pretty 16th century stone holiday homes (FBM149 & FBM243) and this converted watermill (FBM150) are set in a large idyllic park, where there is a river, a pond and a large lake with small trout (family type fishing trail, free fishing for tenants). The British owners have carefully restored and decorated them (exposed beams and wood stoves). The picturesque mill offers comfortable accommodation for two, with views of the pond and lakes, while the two spacious stone houses overlook the river. The surrounding countryside is ideal for walking and cycling. Nearby, don't miss the historic town of Pontivy (16km), with its castle on the river Blavet, weekly market and restaurants, and for beaches and water sports, the lake of Guerlédan (20km), and, a little further away, Mûr de Bretagne (26km). The coast is easily accessible, with the inland sea of the Gulf of Morbihan (70km), and the famous site of Carnac (73km) with its rows of stones (the most important prehistoric site in Europe). FBM149 (for 6), FBM150 (for 2) & FBM243 (for 2) are close by and can be rented together, for a large family or a group of friends who would like to spend their holidays together while keeping some independence.
